2024 Grant Recipient

In 2024, the MLK Committee took a significant step in fostering educational opportunities by inaugurating the Dr. Dorothy and Jerry Enomoto Student Scholarship Fund at Sacramento State. This scholarship pays homage to the visionary founders of the MLK Celebration, Dr. Dorothy and Jerry Enomoto, as well as the entire MLK Celebration Committee, recognizing the dedication of countless volunteers who have contributed to the annual event's success.

The scholarship was established with $25,000 from the MLK Committee and was launched to empower deserving students in pursuit of their academic aspirations.

We extend an invitation to you to join us in amplifying the impact of this scholarship. Your support will honor the legacy of those who have passionately worked towards the MLK Celebration and will also play a pivotal role in expanding the reach of the scholarship, enabling more students to access valuable educational opportunities. Together, let's build a future where education knows no bounds.
