We are honored to welcome you to the 27th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Sacramento. This special event brings our community together to reflect on Dr. King’s legacy and recognize those who continue his work today.
Below you’ll find everything you need to know to attend the celebration.

Please note: Tickets will not be sold at the door.
All tickets must be purchased in advance online at mlkcelebrationsacramento.org.
This annual event sells out quickly. We encourage you to reserve your seat early.

Event: The Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Sacramento
Date: Saturday, January 24, 2026
Location: Sacramento State University – University Ballroom
Registration Opens: 5:00 PM
Program Begins: 6:00 PM
Guests will enjoy an evening of inspiration, recognition, and community unity. The program includes a keynote address, performances, and the presentation of the Robert T. Matsui Community Service Award.

Parking & Entrance
Complimentary parking is available in the structure next to the University Union. Enter the University Ballroom through the walkway from the parking structure.
Event Attire
Evening business attire is recommended. Guests typically wear formal or business casual clothing.
