The annual MLK Celebration Sacramento region honors the legacy and vision of Dr. Martin Luther King's commitment to helping change the world for all people.

Our mission at the MLK Celebration Sacramento event is to commemorate and educate about the enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the civil rights movement of the 1960s. Our annual event unites our community, bringing together diverse voices to honor Dr. King's remarkable contributions and continue the work towards a more just and equitable world.
